ARDEA assesses energy resource and generation potential, site conditions, grid infrastructure, technology alternatives, investment and operational requirements, and project risks together to determine the viability of energy investments. Our studies focus on identifying the key technical parameters that affect investment decisions at an early stage and comparing suitable project alternatives.
Site selection and technology selection are core components of the feasibility process. Potential sites are examined in terms of energy resource, topography, ground and infrastructure conditions, access, grid connection and environmental constraints, while technology and equipment alternatives are compared according to performance, capacity, efficiency, safety, operational needs and investment targets.
This approach covers the combined assessment of different technology components depending on the nature of the project, from wind turbine selection to solar equipment, and from battery technologies to control software and system solutions. Environmental and social impacts are also reviewed as part of the investment decision, with potential effects on land use, the natural and social environment, settlements and stakeholders considered at an early stage.
